About Katrina

Katrina Abel came from Redlands, California, but her path to insurance had nothing to do with a career plan. She was a stay-at-home mom looking for a new chapter when a colleague she'd met through volunteering offered her a chance to learn something new and help people. She said yes and found she was exactly where she was supposed to be.

The core value she leads with is Heart of a Teacher, and it shows. Her door is always open whether a client is ready to buy or just starting to ask questions. She doesn't stop until they feel confident. If someone walks away having learned something new, she knows she did her job right.

Outside of work, Katrina is a certified knitting teacher who ran a clothing circle out of her home for six years making sure kids in her community had what they needed. She thrives on a good question, loves Mexican food, and sets one clear goal each morning.

Every day is a chance to figure something out.
