About Ben

Ben Trygstad is from Craig, Colorado, and curiosity is what got him into insurance. Every other industry tries to show you nothing can go wrong. Insurance is the opposite. People sit across from him and tell him exactly what they're worried about. For a curious person, that's the dream.

His core value is Heart of a Teacher. When a client has a question, his first move isn't to hand them the answer. It's to walk them through the why. He sees himself as the caddie, reading the wind and helping business owners avoid the bunkers they can't see from the tee box. His advice: don't shop on price. Shop on the person.

Outside of work, Ben does jiu-jitsu, coaches wrestling, plays guitar, and runs Friday night pizza night on the Blackstone with his wife Sydney and their two kids. He comes from a big family, most of them close by. Kids' birthday parties feel less like a social gathering and more like a fire code violation.
