Amber Clendening will tell you straight up: it takes less energy to be kind than it does to be cruel. That's not just a nice thing to say. It's how she lives, and it's the foundation of how she works. She's a firm believer that what you put out into the universe comes back to you, so she makes a point of putting out good things.

Amber came to insurance because she loves the intersection of people and knowledge. Helping a client walk away actually understanding their coverage, feeling empowered rather than overwhelmed, is the part of the job that never gets old. As an independent agent, she's not tied to one product or one carrier, which means her only agenda is making sure you're properly protected.

When she's not working, Amber is camping somewhere without cell service, volunteering with Destination Imagination watching kids run wild with their ideas, or critiquing House Hunters with her husband. She runs on coffee and Mexican food, reads everything she can get her hands on, and does not take herself too seriously.

Life is too short for that. Find your joy and roll with it.
