Work Experience

Professionally, I have been a hairstylist for almost two decades. I attended college as a single-mom of 3 kids, for the first time ever, at the age of 28. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis in psychology. Although I don’t “use” my degree, I will always be thankful for the experience, the friends, and the professors that helped me come out of my shell and find myself after a divorce.

I came to the insurance business because of a desire to change my future for the better with a company who’s values and mission I connect deeply with. I am a two-time graduate of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, and I absolutely love his concepts about debt and money. I am looking forward to helping people on a different level than I am used to and taking full advantage of this opportunity to learn and grow!

Hobbies

I am an animal lover above all else. Especially if it’s a farm animal. I will never get tired of their sweet faces and unconditional love. I am also a true-crime junkie! Anything related to dateline, forensics, podcasts, documentaries… I love them all. The human brain and people’s capacity to move beyond tragedy fascinates me. On top of that, we as a family LOVE the outdoors. Camping and fishing recharges my soul. I am also an avid reader of all the books, so a hammock in the mountains with the breeze through the aspens is absolute heaven!
