About Alex
Alex Ruf grew up in Salt Lake City as the second of four kids and graduated in 2020 before heading straight into the mortgage business. After about three years he realized it wasn't the right fit, gave insurance a shot, and hasn't looked back since.
What the mortgage world gave him was a solid understanding of how much the right guidance matters when someone is making a big financial decision. That carries directly into how he works with clients today.
Outside of work, Alex is a gym regular, plays on a men's lacrosse team in the summer, and gets outdoors for fishing, hiking, and camping whenever the weather cooperates. He has an artistic side and sketches when the inspiration hits, reads comics, and will occasionally dust off an old Pokémon or Zelda game on a quiet evening. He married his wife in March of 2023 and they do just about everything together — Hawaii and Disneyland are high on the travel list.
He's still early in his story — and already building something worth watching.
